I need a contractor to cut an opening in an existing roof, reframe, and install skylight(s).
We were contacted via Home Advisor by an owner seeking a contractor to install a new skylight in the kitchen of her 50 year old home in the Table Mesa South neighborhood of Boulder.
A new skylight installation requires extra attention to protect the interior.
The installation of the fixed, deck mounted skylight, a very common size approx. 2′ x 4′, will require us to cut out the ceiling and the roof. Debris can be expected!
With the skylight centered above a marble topped island, we add extra protection in the form of plywood.
