How can I bring more light into my kitchen?
The owner or this 1950’s home contacted us wanting to brighten her dark kitchen. The kitchen sits in the back of the home with a window shaded by a roofed patio. Due to this home’s particular construction, there was only one easy (economical) skylight option. Bring more light into the window.

The patio roof shades the kitchen window while providing a comfortable spot for dining on warmer days. .

The Solution:
The installed skylight's low profile and color blend well with the roof. You can see how the daylight through the skylight strikes the kitchen window.
There is a second benefit, the skylight also illuminates the dining area of the patio and, thanks to the advanced lowE3 coatings, most of the heat from the sunlight is blocked.
