A home remodel calls for an upgrade for the skylight.
The owners are converting their living room into the new master bedroom and selected a Velux Solar Fresh Air skylight and included room darkening blinds for those mornings when they wished to sleep in.
A great experience
A great experience from beginning to end. The installers could not have been nicer and the enormous skylight is a great upgrade to our master bedroom.
The installation:
The owners chose to replace the flashing along with the skylight. Velux engineers aluminum flashing to fit the model being used, ensuring a leakproof installation,
Ice and water shield, an underlayment, adds another layer of protection, while a polymer gasket under the skylight completes the weatherproof installation.
