Outdated acrylic domes in need of replacement offer an opportunity to upgrade.
The old dome skylights had definitely seen better days and were overdue for replacement. As can be seen in the photos below, there have been multiple attempts to solve leaking issues by applying excessive amounts of caulk ‘band-aids’.
