I am looking to upgrade to Velux flat glass skylights.
The owner of this Beaumont Place townhome in southeast Denver was referred to us by a neighbor who had replaced her outdated acrylic dome skylights. She, also, was interested in gaining the benefits of replacing her plastic skylights with Velux CFCM skylights with Neat® glass.
The old and the new:
Like her neighbors skylights, the actual size of the skylight curbs required us to order custom sizes for an exact fit. Not a problem, although it does require a 2-3 week delivery time.
Skylight #1:
Curb dimension: 36.25″ x 36.25″
Acrylic bronze over clear. 
New: Velux lowE3 flat glass.
Skylight #2:
Curb dimension: 36.25″ x 52.25″
Acrylic white over clear. 
New: Velux lowE3 flat glass.
Skylight #3:
Curb dimension: 38.25″ x 75.00″
This skylight is set across the slope of the roof and because of its width, approximately 6 feet, a “cricket” has been built to divert water around the skylight.
