A transformation I would not have expected in my wildest dreams. After having installed 2 large skylights & 2 sun tunnels, our house instantly turned into a light-flooded, happy home. David came out first and was a stellar consultant. He knows his team, his product, he does not oversell but truly cares about suggesting the best option available. A few weeks later, the amazing team of techs came out, worked incredibly hard through a tar roof from 1956 and into the dark. Jordan and Nick are some of the most professional, friendly and good vibe people you can imagine. Even better they are highly knowledgeable and delivered a top performance. What was initially planned for 1 day ended up taking 2 days that’s how meticulous Jordan and Nick and their team worked. The whole team at Skylight Specialists were awesome. So friendly, and professional. The install team, Davin, Spencer, and James, took great care in protecting our home and floors from the debris of the install area, and did an excellent job with clean up. They did accidentally chip our bathtub, but they took full responsibility and didn’t hesitate to fix it! They found the repair company, and took care of it! This is the second time we have had them to our home, we originally had sky lights placed in our hall and master bath. We loved it so much we had them come back and place another in our guest bath. The work was amazing and we are so happy! Thank you for bringing light into our home!

Skylight specialist were totally professional, on time, on schedule, and cleaned up inside and out.
They did a great job of protect the inside room with plastic sheeting which kept the dust to a minimum.
Very pleased with the amount of light brought into a dark space. And the solar blinds are perfect.

We recently had Skylight Specialists install a 2’x4’ Velux skylight in our kitchen, which was dark in the morning. The results were transformational; the area is now bathed in light and far more pleasant than it had been. Our experience with Skylight Specialists was top quality from our first contact to job completion. All employees were friendly, concerned, and helpful. The skylight and the newly constructed shaft are beautiful. Most importantly, there was a glitch in the installation that needed to be addressed. Skylight Specialists was on it immediately. No excuses, no delays, just prompt fair treatment. To me, that is the true measure of a good company—do they admit to and remedy problems. Skylight Specialists passed this test with flying colors, and we will confidently do business with them in the future.

We had a really good experience with Skylight Specialists, Inc. The work was done in a timely fashion (3 days). The workmanship was very good and the crew were very personable. And most importantly, the light from the tubes and skylights make a huge difference in what was a dark home. I highly recommend this company.

We were very impressed with the workmen who came to install our new Skylight. They came early, were very pleasant to talk to and answered our questions before getting started. They were very efficient, obviously following a procedure plan and made sure to protect our floors and furniture. We are very happy with the results and now plan to have a sun tunnel installed in the kitchen just as soon as you can get us on your schedule!

Look no further, this place is amazing, the entire process was so easy. The skylights look absolutely amazing, we are going to be looking to get 3 more ;P seriously amazing quality and just all around awesome. The guys that came to do the install were really friendly and did a great job cleaning up. We seriously could not be happier!!!

The Skylight crew did a fantastic job with our sky lights and sky tunnel. They were on time and got right to it. They walked us through the process, checked with us to confirm all measurements before making any cuts, and left everything how it was. We were concerned about damage or displacement of our ceiling shiplap but it looks untouched. We love the new natural light and would 100% recommend the Skylight team. Thanks!

These guys did great work on our house! I work in construction, and I was wary of having just anyone cut into my roof and framing, which is why I went with Skylight Specialists. They are a certified Velux installer, and they work together with certified drywall company to provide full-service installation and repair. Our install was a little more complicated because we wanted a big skylight with a skylight well in our kitchen. It required some additional framing and moving of electrical, but the installers were professional and accommodating at every step. They put down and removed site protection every single day they were on site, and made sure to leave the space in usable condition at the end of each day. Our attic access is really small, but they never complained about having to crawl through the tight space. We got some minor pushback about filing a building permit with the city, but in the end, they handled the submittal and inspections for an additional fee as we discussed. In the end, it turned out even better than I imagined, and we are now considering adding a second skylight in our entry, as well as several Sun tunnels throughout the house. The complete installation took 2 days, with final drywall texturing and finishing happening a couple weeks after. Every time I stand in my kitchen, it makes me happy.

It was so bizarre to have contractor show up on time, work hard, do a great job and be friendly and knowledgeable too. I wish this company did more than skylights- we would hire them in a heartbeat. This is a better experience than we have had in all of our years of remodels.

Daniel and Spencer arrived to install a sun tunnel in our home. They were courteous, efficient, careful with our furniture and cleaned up after themselves! … and we love the added light from the sun tunnel. An all around successful experience!!!

Great installer, he really left the place clean– no drywall dust anywhere! There was a little mix up with what I wanted but they are working it out for us, and the sun tunnel made a massive difference in our space and it’s much more enjoyable now.

From the first call to the clean up Skylight Specialists did a great job. The guys that did the installation took extra tine to put the skylights exactly where I wanted them and left no trace they were there when they left other than a drastic improvement in light! Highly recommend this company.

I am so stoked with the final results provided by Skylight Specialist!! The custom skylight that they installed exceeded all of my expectations. After discovering a weird “pitch change” in my roof that prevented us from installing something a bit more typical, they designed and installed this custom skylight that brings in more light and looks way cooler. The more technical install meant that it took a little longer (it meant we had to custom manufacture the glass which took a few weeks), but it was well worth the wait!! Would highly recommend Skylight Specialists for your tricky or specialty jobs!!

We’ve had 9 skylights installed over the past 4 years by Skylight Specialists and we LOVE every one of them! Their expertise on skylights is incredible! They provide recommendations on location of skylights in a room too and they couldn’t be more spot on! We’ve always had excellent service and every one of our skylights looks amazing!! Professional service starting from our initial appointment straight through to clean up after installation! Skylight Specialists is the ONLY company we will ever have install our skylights.

I honestly didn’t know companies like Skylight Specialists still existed! We had them install 7 skylights and the project could not have gone smoother! They said they could do it in two (2) days! And that’s exactly what happened. The crew of 5 or 6 guys showed up on time in the morning and worked together as true professionals. They were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. They did a GREAT JOB, and when they finished they cleaned up so well, you would never know we just finished a major project! Again, I didn’t know companies could still field a crew so polished and professional! Bravo to Skylight Specialists!

Just had a skylight installed by Skylight Specialists and couldn’t be happier. The skylight is beautiful and the installers did a fantastic job. They were extremely careful about keeping my countertops from getting damaged and they cleaned up so well when they were done it seemed like they were never here. I would highly recommend this company.

They’re great, we really enjoyed working with them. Barry was very professional he did everything on schedule and within budget. He went out of his way to make sure that we’re happy, Julia was great, she coordinated the whole project, from start to finish, and Roger, the best drywall texture person. He did an excellent job on the texture and he is the cleanest drywall person I’ve ever known… overall, they exceeded all our expectations and we will highly recommend them to any one and will hire them again, thank you for the wonderful job!!!

Devin and Jake of Skylight Specialists installed three sun tunnels for me a couple of days ago. The job took one day even with a few obstacles, one being the intermittent snow fall and the other being the configuration of my old home. These two gentlemen were respectful, knowledgeable, pleasant and proficient. They kept me informed of the status of the project all along the way. They took great care in cleaning up after the project and were flawless in their execution. Thank you Jake and Devin and thank you Skylight Specialists!!!!

Although I live HOURS away, these fellas not only took the drive, but they arrived EARLY! They managed to keep the work in a secluded spot, which they went above and beyond to clean up once complete, and kept me involved in every step! They were kind and courteous, and very professional. Also, did I mention that this happened all in February in Colorado!? We just had a snow storm and another that was on the way, and the way these men worked, you’d believe it was a bright sunny summer day.
I literally sat in my living room for hours just looking into the sky, watching snow accumulate on the new skylight. I am beyond happy, I thank them, and most importantly, my plants thank them! The house was very dark, almost spooky dark, and now it feels like an ad in Better Homes magazine! I took pictures and posted them to my social media, and already referred them to a friend. This is such an exciting day. I only bought this house in late 2019 and was ready to place it back on the market because well, I’m a plant lady. After yesterday’s new install, that idea is out the window! Who knew that for the right price and a few hours, a house could turn into a home!

Everything about working with them on our project was professional, courteous and well communicated. They were extremely prompt, from the in home consultation to scheduling to installation. The installer, Paul, was fantastic. He made sure he knew what we wanted to achieve, clearly explained his recommendation, protected all the work areas, tidied up the area afterwards and made sure to lock the backyard gate before leaving. Everything was top notch. I can’t wait to recommend Skylight Specialists to all our friends.

I found Skylight Specialists through Home Advisor, and after receiving several phone calls and quotes, I chose them to install two skylights. I’m SO glad I did! My experience began with Julia, who was incredibly helpful and responsive to my needs throughout the project. (She also didn’t annoy me with repeated phone calls after our project was delayed!)
Once our funding came through, we were able to schedule and complete the job in a matter of days. Then Mark and Kevin showed up for the install. These guys know their stuff! They covered all my furniture to protect them during construction, and left the place exactly as they found it (except, of course, for the two beautiful holes in the ceiling!) Mark was VERY helpful in determining the exact placement of the skylights, and his 30 years of experience was really helpful for someone like me who knows nothing about this stuff.
All I can say now is that I want MORE skylights, and I won’t hesitate to call the specialists when that time comes!

About 3.5 years ago, we moved into a log home. The home is beautiful, but very dark inside. After much research, we settled on Skylight Specialists to put in a skylight for us. We were dreading having it done based upon our previous contracting experiences in other homes. We always said that contractors leave your home in worse shape than before they came! Not so with this company. Mark and Barry were wonderful! They carefully set up protective measures before starting. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the resulting skylight was beautiful and looked like it had always been part of the house. It has been about a year and a half now since it was installed, and it has made such a difference in this house. We would not hesitate to work with this company again, in the future.

Davin & James did a great job replacing/installing 2 new skylights at our home. They coordinated their work w/the roofers and kept us in-the-loop. Finished product is great and work areas were clean when they left.

I can’t thank Josh and the people at Skylight Specialists enough!! My partner and I work on the frontlines and in the beginning of the pandemic, we were selected for a Sun Tunnel giveaway. As an NP, I was working 12-15 hours a day and as the cases of SARS-CoV-2 continued on, my partner was equally exhausted in her work as a therapist. We rarely saw the light of day during this time. Josh Hannon was incredibly patient and worked with us amid the chaos and our ever-changing hours for installation. The installer, Paul was incredible and the Sun Tunnel is just perfect, brightening up our once-dark farmhouse dining room! This was even more appreciated after I contracted the virus and ended up in the hospital, then quarantine and prolonged recovery, requiring oxygen at home. The added brightness helped as we had to put our beloved Goldendoodle down and the ray of light highlighted the many wonderful flowers we received from loved ones. It’s been a difficult year and the muddy recovery from this virus is unrelenting, but I will be forever grateful for this gift of light- especially as we are now working from home as we can and the dining room is now my partner’s office. Skylight Specialists, Inc. is a top notch organization and HIGHLY recommend considering them for a skylight or Sun Tunnel to bring light into your home and your lives! We could all use more light in our lives, but especially now as daylight becomes scarce into the winter and more of us stationed at home as this pandemic continues on.

Wonderful experience to work with. Got everything done as quickly as possible and it looks amazing! We had a non-traditional job and Skylight specialists were the only ones with the creative ability to work with us on what we wanted. We’re already scheming more places to put skylights (well magsbar, but similar). 10/10 A++ Highly recommend!

Had a sun tunnel installed. The guys showed up on time and were very professional from the start. Super informative on how the process was going to go and very thorough in their estimate and inspection. Install was quick (done in 2 hours!) but they left my roof and ceiling looking complete. They also cleaned up after themselves. I have absolutely no question on the quality and integrity of their work. Very highly recommend. Will be hiring them again!

We just returned home today to our new solar skylights. We love them. The entire process was outstanding. You were always available and helpful. Matt was outstanding and CJ was wonderful. Thanks to all.
