VELUX Rigid SUN TUNNEL

A transformation I would not have expected in my wildest dreams. After having installed 2 large skylights & 2 sun tunnels, our house instantly turned into a light-flooded, happy home. David came out first and was a stellar consultant. He knows his team, his product, he does not oversell but truly cares about suggesting the best option available. A few weeks later, the amazing team of techs came out, worked incredibly hard through a tar roof from 1956 and into the dark. Jordan and Nick are some of the most professional, friendly and good vibe people you can imagine. Even better they are highly knowledgeable and delivered a top performance. What was initially planned for 1 day ended up taking 2 days that’s how meticulous Jordan and Nick and their team worked. I had a skylight replaced and added 2 light tubes. Jenna came out and assessed the work, answered all my questions and gave a good price. Jordan and Caden did the installation and were very courteous and professional. I am very pleased with the product, the company and the employees.

From the Salesperson to the Techs, this was a wonderful experience. All were professional and friendly. Caden and Jared were the techs and worked non-stop to get it just right which wasn’t an easy job as it was difficult getting the sun-tubes to fit between the joists. They replaced 4 old 12” tubes with 14” tubes. Jared came back the following day as he was determined to make it perfect and worked for hours to achieve this goal. It’s not always pleasant working with contractors but the people at Skylights Specialists make it easy! I highly recommend this company!

I have used Skylight Specialists for many years now. I keep adding sun tunnels for more light in darker places in my home. They also put a very large skylight in my front room which made a world of difference. They all look wonderful and make my home so light and bright. The installers are always on time and take extra care when installing. I would definitely recommend them!!!!!

I highly recommend Skylight Specialists. They were definitely the right choice for replacing our three existing solar tubes which were 20 years old and damaged by the last hail storm. Every staff member we interacted with was professional and courteous. And their expertise and service was top notch. The improvements in solar tubes in the past 20 years is amazing. We love these solar tubes and plan on installing a few more in our home.

Daniel and Spencer arrived to install a sun tunnel in our home. They were courteous, efficient, careful with our furniture and cleaned up after themselves! … and we love the added light from the sun tunnel. An all around successful experience!!!

Great installer, he really left the place clean– no drywall dust anywhere! There was a little mix up with what I wanted but they are working it out for us, and the sun tunnel made a massive difference in our space and it’s much more enjoyable now.

From the first call to the clean up Skylight Specialists did a great job. The guys that did the installation took extra tine to put the skylights exactly where I wanted them and left no trace they were there when they left other than a drastic improvement in light! Highly recommend this company.

Devin and Jake of Skylight Specialists installed three sun tunnels for me a couple of days ago. The job took one day even with a few obstacles, one being the intermittent snow fall and the other being the configuration of my old home. These two gentlemen were respectful, knowledgeable, pleasant and proficient. They kept me informed of the status of the project all along the way. Everything about working with them on our project was professional, courteous and well communicated. They were extremely prompt, from the in home consultation to scheduling to installation. The installer, Paul, was fantastic. He made sure he knew what we wanted to achieve, clearly explained his recommendation, protected all the work areas, tidied up the area afterwards and made sure to lock the backyard gate before leaving. Everything was top notch. I can’t wait to recommend Skylight Specialists to all our friends.

Davin & James did a great job replacing/installing 2 new skylights at our home. They coordinated their work w/the roofers and kept us in-the-loop. Finished product is great and work areas were clean when they left.

I can’t thank Josh and the people at Skylight Specialists enough!! My partner and I work on the frontlines and in the beginning of the pandemic, we were selected for a Sun Tunnel giveaway. As an NP, I was working 12-15 hours a day and as the cases of SARS-CoV-2 continued on, my partner was equally exhausted in her work as a therapist. We rarely saw the light of day during this time. Josh Hannon was incredibly patient and worked with us amid the chaos and our ever-changing hours for installation. The installer, Paul was incredible and the Sun Tunnel is just perfect, brightening up our once-dark farmhouse dining room! This was even more appreciated after I contracted the virus and ended up in the hospital, then quarantine and prolonged recovery, requiring oxygen at home. The added brightness helped as we had to put our beloved Goldendoodle down and the ray of light highlighted the many wonderful flowers we received from loved ones. It’s been a difficult year and the muddy recovery from this virus is unrelenting, but I will be forever grateful for this gift of light- especially as we are now working from home as we can and the dining room is now my partner’s office. Skylight Specialists, Inc. is a top notch organization and HIGHLY recommend considering them for a skylight or Sun Tunnel to bring light into your home and your lives! We could all use more light in our lives, but especially now as daylight becomes scarce into the winter and more of us stationed at home as this pandemic continues on.

Had a sun tunnel installed. The guys showed up on time and were very professional from the start. Super informative on how the process was going to go and very thorough in their estimate and inspection. Install was quick (done in 2 hours!) but they left my roof and ceiling looking complete. They also cleaned up after themselves. I have absolutely no question on the quality and integrity of their work. Very highly recommend. Will be hiring them again!
