We are a fully insured company; Workman’s Compensation Insurance, 5 million dollar liability insurance, 2 million dollar automobile policy, and bonding available upon request.

When you call, your roof access and contact info will be entered into our system and placed in our inspector’s queue.
With access to your roof, your presence is typically not required.
The inspector will get up on your roof and collect pictures, measurements and data for all of your skylights.

Our inspector will evaluate the issue and take any necessary notes, measurements and pictures. With that completed, you are free to leave and the exterior inspection can proceed.

The installation team went above and beyond to help me by carefully removing screens I had stapled against the old skylights. I was expecting an ugly drywall mess but the team did such a great job, I can’t see any issue now and they did this at no additional charge. Honestly, they left my living room cleaner and tidier than before they started.

Caden and Jared were the techs and worked non-stop to get it just right which wasn’t an easy job as it was difficult getting the sun-tubes to fit between the joists. They replaced 4 old 12” tubes with 14” tubes. Jared came back the following day as he was determined to make it perfect and worked for hours to achieve this goal. It’s not always pleasant working with contractors but the people at Skylights Specialists make it easy! I highly recommend this company!

She accurately assessed our needs and confidently assured me that their team had the expertise to replace our special order skylights on our (concrete) tile roof.
Thankfully, they also did all they could to expedite our order/installation – one skylight was badly damaged due to wind, the other was leaking due to bad flashing.

I was concerned that they would have to rip off a bunch of shingles and put on some mis-matched shingles, but they neatly pulled back the existing ones and replaced them perfectly. This crew was careful, very consciousness, and happy to answer all my questions and concerns.
I will recommend they if anyone I know wants to replace or add skylights to their home in the future.

We didn’t have any roof issues, or needing other supplies. We had older Velux skylights, and didn’t have any west side openings or venting for our top floor which gets the hottest in this old house. These new skylights with the light blocking shades and venting are a blessing! I’m so happy they close automatically with rain in Colorado! You never know when we’ll get a pop up storm outta the blue! Wildland Justin are very professional, and I had absolutely nothing to clean up. Thank you!

These guys did great work on our house! I work in construction, and I was wary of having just anyone cut into my roof and framing, which is why I went with Skylight Specialists. They are a certified Velux installer, and they work together with certified drywall company to provide full-service installation and repair. Our install was a little more complicated because we wanted a big skylight with a skylight well in our kitchen. It required some additional framing and moving of electrical, but the installers were professional and accommodating at every step. They put down and removed site protection every single day they were on site, and made sure to leave the space in usable condition at the end of each day. Our attic access is really small, but they never complained about having to crawl through the tight space. We got some minor pushback about filing a building permit with the city, but in the end, they handled the submittal and inspections for an additional fee as we discussed. In the end, it turned out even better than I imagined, and we are now considering adding a second skylight in our entry, as well as several Sun tunnels throughout the house. The complete installation took 2 days, with final drywall texturing and finishing happening a couple weeks after. Every time I stand in my kitchen, it makes me happy.

After discovering a weird “pitch change” in my roof that prevented us from installing something a bit more typical, they designed and installed this custom skylight that brings in more light and looks way cooler. We had a great experience with Skylight Specialists. From the scheduling, inspection, proposal/contract signing, and installation, everything was really easy. Julia was great to work with and was available to answer questions throughout the process. The installation itself went really well. We were very impressed by the professionalism and kindness of Kevin and his team. Due to some water-damaged wood under our old skylight, they discovered they needed to replace the damaged wood before installing the new skylight (making sure to explain this to us and check with us before proceeding), making the installation harder and longer than they probably planned for. Even so, they worked all day to finish the project, and even stayed an extra hour to install some inside trim around the new skylight and give us some suggestions on our other skylights. It really felt like they went above and beyond and we were pleasantly surprised and very impressed. We will definitely be calling them again for future skylight replacements!

Six panels of new glass were installed, three new fixed skylights we’re installed in the kitchen, and three Mags Bar were installed with the goal of opening up views to the entire house. And that’s exactly what happened. The crew of 5 or 6 guys showed up on time in the morning and worked together as true professionals. They were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. They did a GREAT JOB, and when they finished they cleaned up so well, you would never know we just finished a major project! The entire crew showed up every day on time the crew worked very well together. Everyone was very mannerly and kept me up-to-date on everything that was going on. The team lead Joseph went above and beyond more than once trying to make sure that we were satisfied. I have nothing to say but good things about this company their office personnel Devin. And Mike who made the appointments continuously keep us up-to-date on everything. We had more than one job going on at the same time it was the same crew the entire time no issues whatsoever. They took pictures of the work they were doing & they cleaned so well when they left and picked up everything inside and outside. If you have any needs regarding skylights, repair, installation or replacement Skylight Specialists should be the beginning and end of your search. Recently they replaced three skylights for us that another company had installed after the 2014 hail storm. Unbeknownst to us those skylights had been leaking into our walls these last five plus years. It wasn’t until we noticed ceiling and drywall damage that we realized that there was a problem with the skylights. We have a pitched roof that is two and one half stories high and for safety reasons we have never been on top of it to see the outside of the old skylights.
When Daniel from Skylight Specialists showed us pictures of those skylights, even to our untrained eyes, we were shocked at the poor job that had been done. We have had three snow storms since Skylight Specialists replaced the old skylights and we have had no leaks and they look fantastic! The crew from Skylight Specialists was awesome. They were so careful and respectful of our home and their craftsmanship is exceptional. We are so grateful to Skylight Specialists for solving our water leak problem. From our first contact with them to the completion of our project they have exceeded our expectations.

Josh Ewing was fantastic to work with! Josh designed a MAGS system with integrated VELUX solar venting skylights incorporated into them. They installed 32 skylights into my home (3 banks) in less than 8 days. The crew showed up on time, were super friendly to my wife, super playful and careful around my black lab Diesel, and very courteous of the residence. They only time they were not working is when they would pet the black lab for a few minutes. They did an excellent job of cleaning up each day and communicating with me on the progress they made (or did not make) each day. I have worked with two other outfits prior to Skylight Specialists and am really happy to have met Josh. I will continue to work with them on a go-forward basis and will recommend them to others. Although I live HOURS away, these fellas not only took the drive, but they arrived EARLY! They managed to keep the work in a secluded spot, which they went above and beyond to clean up once complete, and kept me involved in every step! They were kind and courteous, and very professional. Also, did I mention that this happened all in February in Colorado!? We just had a snow storm and another that was on the way, and the way these men worked, you’d believe it was a bright sunny summer day.
I literally sat in my living room for hours just looking into the sky, watching snow accumulate on the new skylight. I am beyond happy, I thank them, and most importantly, my plants thank them! The house was very dark, almost spooky dark, and now it feels like an ad in Better Homes magazine! I took pictures and posted them to my social media, and already referred them to a friend. This is such an exciting day. I only bought this house in late 2019 and was ready to place it back on the market because well, I’m a plant lady. After yesterday’s new install, that idea is out the window! Who knew that for the right price and a few hours, a house could turn into a home!

I found Skylight Specialists through Home Advisor, and after receiving several phone calls and quotes, I chose them to install two skylights. I’m SO glad I did! My experience began with Julia, who was incredibly helpful and responsive to my needs throughout the project. (She also didn’t annoy me with repeated phone calls after our project was delayed!)
Once our funding came through, we were able to schedule and complete the job in a matter of days. Then Mark and Kevin showed up for the install. These guys know their stuff! They covered all my furniture to protect them during construction, and left the place exactly as they found it (except, of course, for the two beautiful holes in the ceiling!) Mark was VERY helpful in determining the exact placement of the skylights, and his 30 years of experience was really helpful for someone like me who knows nothing about this stuff.
All I can say now is that I want MORE skylights, and I won’t hesitate to call the specialists when that time comes!

We were dreading having it done based upon our previous contracting experiences in other homes. We always said that contractors leave your home in worse shape than before they came! Not so with this company. Mark and Barry were wonderful! They carefully set up protective measures before starting. They worked quickly and efficiently, and the resulting skylight was beautiful and looked like it had always been part of the house. Now, with the new Velux skylights, it is quiet as a whisper in our living room. The salespeople were professional, responsive, and punctual. The installer was professional and kind. They look amazing. What a great company to work with! We got a lower quote from another company, but their people who came out were not as knowledgeable about the types of skylights. They even gave us incorrect information. I am really glad we spent the slightly higher price to have this job done so excellently.

I can’t thank Josh and the people at Skylight Specialists enough!! My partner and I work on the frontlines and in the beginning of the pandemic, we were selected for a Sun Tunnel giveaway. As an NP, I was working 12-15 hours a day and as the cases of SARS-CoV-2 continued on, my partner was equally exhausted in her work as a therapist. We rarely saw the light of day during this time. Josh Hannon was incredibly patient and worked with us amid the chaos and our ever-changing hours for installation. The installer, Paul was incredible and the Sun Tunnel is just perfect, brightening up our once-dark farmhouse dining room! This was even more appreciated after I contracted the virus and ended up in the hospital, then quarantine and prolonged recovery, requiring oxygen at home. The added brightness helped as we had to put our beloved Goldendoodle down and the ray of light highlighted the many wonderful flowers we received from loved ones. It’s been a difficult year and the muddy recovery from this virus is unrelenting, but I will be forever grateful for this gift of light- especially as we are now working from home as we can and the dining room is now my partner’s office. Skylight Specialists, Inc. is a top notch organization and HIGHLY recommend considering them for a skylight or Sun Tunnel to bring light into your home and your lives! We could all use more light in our lives, but especially now as daylight becomes scarce into the winter and more of us stationed at home as this pandemic continues on.

But it was noticing cracks in the one over the bathtub, while taking a bath, that made me find the business card I had gotten during last home show in Denver.
I still assumed this was going to be a major project, super heavy units.. and really expensive.. probably require short power outage.I was so wrong and should literally have done this decades ago.
Kenny & Devon did such an excellent job I took pictures. Good thing I’m not a Facebooker or I’d have posted there. Fortunately I remembered to tell them about extra shingles stashed so they made them look perfect!

We have an older (1927) home with old dome style skylights. We found the Skylight Specialists at the home and garden show. They were one of several that we called for estimates. Some of the others never even called back… Skylight Specialists were 100% on mark from the beginning to the end of the project. They provided an over the phone ball park price, then showed up on time, to measure and give the estimate, it was reasonable and understandable. The interaction with everyone from the sales to the install was unparalleled with most other contractors in the field. They were on schedule with install, even with weather delays. But the most impressive interaction was when I noticed an install issue… (totally my perfection side) they came back and fixed it with the best “can do” attitude I have seen in a long time… so impressed. I HIGHLY recommend Skylight Specialists for any skylight you need. Quality Velux products, but the install and service are beyond 5 star… thanks for the great service in a day that quality is hard to find.

Skylights Specialists replaced 8 skylights in our home in 2014. One skylight fractured recently. Josh was our original salesperson, and was again our advocate with the skylight manufacturer, and even had someone come out to cover the skylight against adverse weather. Kenny installed the new skylight yesterday. He was very courteous and personable, and totally impressive! We have a concrete tile roof, which requires very careful treatment, and Kenny was a pro! I cannot speak highly enough of the service Josh and Kenny provided. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of skylights.

Skylight Specialists did a remarkable job on our skylight and solar blind install. We had 10 skylights and 7 solar blinds installed over 3 days as a replacement to our existing skylights. The sales team worked with me up front to explain in detail and update the contract as needed before we scheduled the work. The crew, led by Devin B, were outstanding. The crew was polite, professional, respectful, and helped to protect my house by rolling out plastic on the floor from the doorway to their workspace and cleaning up after each day. We actually had lots of family in town unexpectedly during this time, and Skylight Specialists were very understanding of the situation and completed the work with minimal disruption to us. The workmanship was excellent and I did not need to provide oversight as Devin and the crew were skilled and committed to doing a high quality job. Skylight Specialists uses the best products, and installing skylights is all they do. From my perspective, they are the best company for a skylight install or replacement. Even my visiting in-laws were impressed 🙂

From Cynthia (receptionist), to the guy that came out to get measurements (forgot his name, sorry!), our rep (Josh) and the very nice gentleman that did the installation (Mark), everyone was super helpful and polite. I can now pronounce “VELUX” lol and the skylights are beautiful. I’d recommend this company to anyone!

We would highly recommend Skylight Specialists. They replaced 3 of our skylights and we are very pleased with all aspects of the job they performed. Devin and his team kept us informed on the schedule, arrived on time and answered all our questions on the process. They were tidy and cleaned up after the installation. They didn’t even take a lunch break! It’s hard to find responsible contractors these days and we definitely hit a home run with this company.

Had a sun tunnel installed. The guys showed up on time and were very professional from the start. Super informative on how the process was going to go and very thorough in their estimate and inspection. Install was quick (done in 2 hours!) but they left my roof and ceiling looking complete. They also cleaned up after themselves. I have absolutely no question on the quality and integrity of their work. Very highly recommend. Will be hiring them again!
